Availability

  • Currently booking for Spring and Summer 2008. If you are expecting a baby, please contact Jennifer as soon as possible, ideally before the baby is born, to schedule a session. Newborns will be worked into the schedule since there is only a small window of opportunity to capture them in their completely "new" state. Jennifer likes to photograph newborns within the first 2 weeks of life.

The Girls!

These 2 are probably my most photographed subjects besides my own children.  They are back and faster than ever.  Instead of chasing just one, now I'm chasing two and often they are going in different directions.

Cool Front? What Cool Front?

Well, supposedly a cool front came through the Houston area on Friday.  You never would have known it on Saturday afternoon.  Andrew's session took place in the late afternoon and by the halfway mark, we were all dripping with sweat.  But Andrew still played and ran around like it was no big deal.  He just learned to walk a few weeks ago and was eager to show off his new skill, which meant lots of running, lots of climbing and of course.....PLAYING IN A FOUNTAIN!!!!!!!  <---- this seems to be a pattern with me.

ohhhh, I love newborns!

This is sweet Sarah.  I fell in love with her.  She's so mellow, so content, and so very loved.  I started to get those baby twinges again, then I came home to my almost 2 year old.  That snapped me back to reality.  She really was a tropper though.  We fussed all around her for a couple of hours and she just let us.  She was happy just to snooze, as long as there was a hairdryer pointed in her direction.  We got some great shots and great expressions.  I can't wait to watch her grow and to meet her big sister Samantha.

Happy birthday!

What do you give the spouse who has everything for their 30th birthday?  Pictures of you!  What a great idea, and these came out beautifully.  We tried to sing but forgot the words and just decided to flirt with construction workers instead.....HAHA!  Meet Jenny.

A Senior of a Different Sort

This is Libby, she is a senior at SHSU and graduating soon!  We shot around the SHSU campus and tried to incorporate it all into these shots.  Congrats Libby!

Who needs a gym...

I've got Hunter!  This boy kept me on my toes, and then on my knees, and then running, and then back on my toes!  I don't think he slowed down for more than 2 seconds the entire session.  He was determined to do what he wanted to do, and had some pretty good ideas.  I got a whole lot of action shots FOR SURE!  Like I said, no need to go to the gym today...I'm already feeling the muscle burn in my thighs.

Organized Chaos!

Well, when we picked this location it seemed perfect, and any other day of the week it probably would be.  What we didn't know was that apparently it was homecoming evening for the local high school.  UGH, between dealing with the heat (it was still 92 degrees at 5pm) and dodging high school girls dressed like princesses in the background, I can only say that this session was crazy.  But I still got some great shots!
