But this one stayed WIDE AWAKE for most of the session. I did manage to grab a few sleepy shots (and one massive yawn) when she would rest her eyes for 2 or 3 seconds, but when she opened them, the eye contact I got from her was AMAZING. Unbelievable for a baby less than 2 weeks old.

Forget Low key and Casual this time, we went all out and dressed to the nines this time. This was a short but sweet session with just one purpose. Capture this cutie in a tux!

These sessions are becoming increasingly more popular both in the studio and outdoors. This is Macy's second session with me. In her first session, she was only a few days old, but we are starting quite the tradition here....The very first session I had with this family was Mommy and Daddy's Engagement portraits.

They are so darn spunky! This little guy was no exception to the rule. He made it a game of darting in and out of the camera shot.....so yep, I put a baby in a basket <---- which lasted about 4 shots then he realized "hey, I can climb out of this thing!" But we got some great shots while in the basket and a whole lot of great shots while playing in front of the camera!

You may have already noticed this but Authentic Images has a new website front page, also known as a Splash Page. After the last one quit working, for reasons I still don't understand, I went into design mode and put a new one together. Any of you scrapper's have any ideas to spruce this up a little? I'm loving these tutu's that everyone keeps bringing in. They are so frilly, fun and TOTALLY girly! Some of you will probably recognize little Brooke. She's been on the blog a few times before. This is session #3 for the two of us and she keeps getting cuter and cuter each time!

Another newborn...I love it. This is Luke. Poor little Luke suffered from quite the case of hiccups for the first 30 minutes or so of our session. But once they were gone, he settled in nicely and pretty much let me move him the way I needed to, except for one shot, but that's okay, I think these more than make up for it! I even caught a dream smile!

As some of you may have noticed, my website has not been working correctly, this includes email.
